UPDATE: MegaHouse’ G.E.M. Mimi, Lillimon gets standard release

Surprises come one after the other these days, and even this previously announced Tachikawa Mimi and Lillimon figure has something new to offer: it will get a standard release.

The announcement was made during the Megahobby Expo held at Akiba Square, May 28.

Unlike the previously released champion form from Digimon Adventure, Mimi and Lilimon will be the first non-exclusive and non-limited figures from the line.

And with this standard release comes a lower price for these adorable duo. You may snag them for ¥6,800, even lower than the upcoming Wizardmon.

Pre-orders will open in August and is set for release this year.

Magazine Scan: First look at Lillimon, Beelzebumon painted prototypes

The V-Jump’s latest magazine issue gives us a first look at the painted prototypes of Megahouse’ G.E.M. Lillimon and Mimi as well as Beelzebumon and Impmon.

Both figures are looking more impressive now that they are fully painted, as expected from MegaHouse’ excellent work.

While Beelzebumon exudes a cool and badass image, Lillimon is looking cute together with her human partner. Only concern about the latter Digimon is that she might come out really small, like a 1/10 instead of the previous releases’ 1/8.

Furthermore, Beelzebumon and Impmon’s pre-orders will open in May while Lillimon and Mimi will be available in August. No price announced yet but following the previous releases, these figures might be another limited and exclusive again.

Both figures are part of MegaHouse’ G.E.M. Digimon series, joining the already released Angemon and Angewomon, and to be released Garurumon and Wizardmon.

Other releases from the said series includes a complete set of Digimon Adventure’s chosen children with their rookie Digimon, Adventure 02’s Ichijouji Ken and Wormmon, and Tamers’ Makino Ruki and Renamon.

Winter WonFes ’16: Lillimon joins MegaHouse’ G.E.M. Digimon line; Ruki, Renamon newest addition to Tamers

I knew it’s just a matter of time before we can finally see Lillimon, but the waiting period is over as MegaHouse revealed an unpainted prototype of the Ultimate Digimon in the recent Winter Wonder Festival, February 7.

Mimi and Lillimon. ❤

Lillimon is now joining MegaHouse’ highly anticipated G.E.M. Digimon line together with her human partner, Tachikawa Mimi. She is the fourth Digimon partner in the said line, following Garurumon and the soon to be released Angemon and Angewomon.

On the other hand, Tamers is getting a new figure following the announcement of Beelzebumon, as an unpainted Makino Ruki and Renamon enters the scene.

Ruki and Renamon

The Digimon Queen and her partner falls under the MegaHouse’s G.E.M. series as well. It is unknown as of this writing if we will get the chance to see the full casts of Tamers being made into figures, but following the decision of the same company with the Digimon Adventure line, it is not far from reality.

However, the lack of figures from the Digimon Adventure 02 in this event leads us wondering if MegaHouse plans to continue with the series following the recently released Ken and Wormmon.

Moreover, the painted version of young Hikari and Koromon from the first Digimon movie was also previewed in the event.

Adorable. ^_^
