Gate of pre-orders, I open thee, Lucy!
With what seemed like a long and tiring wait since the announcement, Tsume-Art finally revealed the much anticipated Lucy Heartfilia from their HQF line, and she is now available for pre-orders!
As hinted before, the figure is based on a fight scene during the Oracion Seis arc, wherein Lucy is shown summoning her most powerful celestial spirit, Aquarius.
Lucy stands (err, crouches) at 240 mm and is up for grabs for 139 € Inc. Tax. She is slated for a February 2016 release.
Although the details on this figure is undeniably superb, one can’t help but notice how the faces were terribly done. And I mean Aquarius’ face seems really off, while Lucy’s expressionless face doesn’t suit the mood of the figure. This has been a long time issue with Tsume’s previous releases, which fans continuously point out. Although some may be able to dismiss this fact, it will still be a lot if they can improve this aspect of their work for a much more satisfied fans.
We are still hoping that they will listen further to the public just like what they did on the guild mark issue on the teaser image posted last month. Hopefully it won’t turn out like Gray, which got a darker skin tone from the prototype to the final output, that dismayed a number of fans.
